Open a wholesale account
One application, sent and signed through DocuSign. Once it is in, you get a dedicated Green Coffee Representative, Customer Portal access and free samples. Businesses only: we ask for a tax ID and your state resale or retail license.
Balzac Brothers sells green coffee wholesale, by the full bag, to businesses that roast or resell it. Opening an account takes one application, sent and signed through DocuSign. Once it is in, you get a dedicated Green Coffee Representative, access to the Customer Portal and free samples of anything on our list.
Who can open a wholesale account
Wholesale pricing and free samples are for businesses buying green coffee for resale or to roast and sell: coffee roasters, cafés that roast their own, and distributors. To set up the account we will ask for:
- A federal tax ID (EIN) for the business.
- A resale certificate or retail license from your state. Most states require one to buy for resale without paying sales tax; a few have no sales tax and need nothing. Requirements and forms vary, so check this state-by-state guide to resale certificates or your state's Department of Revenue.
If you have applied for your license and are waiting on it, you can still send the request below and we will hold your application until it arrives.
Roasting at home or buying for yourself? Wholesale accounts are for businesses only, but small-batch green coffee for home roasters is coming soon to this site.

Request the application
Fill in the short form below. We email you the Customer Application + Resale Certificate through DocuSign, usually within one business day.

Sign it in DocuSign
The application asks for your business details, your EIN and your resale or retail license. If you would like to apply for payment terms from the start, add trade references; otherwise you can leave that section blank. Preview the application (PDF).

You are set up
Your Green Coffee Representative reaches out, you receive your Customer Portal login, and samples can ship. Without terms, orders are paid before delivery; terms can be set up on the application with trade references or after a few orders.
