Professional Educational Coffee Courses
Balzac Brothers hosts Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and Q courses in our SCA-certified lab in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Whether you are a barista, roaster, green buyer or simply passionate about coffee quality, our hands-on courses help you taste with more confidence and intention.
Recent and recurring courses include the SCA Q Grader Course, CVA for Cuppers (which also qualifies current or past Q Graders for the new SCA Q Certificate through the SCA’s Fast Track program), and SCA Sensory Skills Foundation and Intermediate.

Payment and Terms
Check and credit card payments are accepted. Once registered you may cancel payment with a 10% cancellation fee up to 15 days before the start date of a course. After the 15 day mark, courses are non-refundable. Balzac reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events as necessary. In this case fees will be refunded or can be transferred to a future course.
