What the credentials mean
Q Grader: a coffee professional certified to evaluate and score green coffee consistently, after an intensive course and a series of sensory and grading exams. Most of our team holds this certification, and it is why every coffee we sell is cupped and scored before it reaches you.
Q Instructor: qualified to teach the Q Grader course and lead the exams. Traci leads the Q courses we host in our Charleston lab.
Authorized SCA Trainer: certified by the Specialty Coffee Association to teach its education courses. Angela leads our SCA Sensory Skills courses.
