Colombia El Eden Microlot

Ten years ago, producer Jaime Alberto Castañeda Cardona and his wife purchased a farm called El Eden. A dream they created after they began to date, Jaime and his wife, Claudia Patricia Restrepo, utilized their childhood experiences of assisting on their individual families’ coffee farms to build a business they could pass on to their own two children.

Jaime inherited his love for coffee from his mother, Maria Dolores Cardona, who he began to help on the farm at the age of 10. He grew up with his parents and two sisters on their family farm, Finca La Borrajita, an environment that gives him the inspiration to continue to grow his own coffee business even with its ever-present challenges.
