Our latest shipment from Fazenda do Salto in Brazil has landed. We've worked with this farm for many years and keep its coffees consistently available, and it's become one of the steadiest relationships in our lineup.
Who runs Fazenda do Salto?
Fazenda do Salto is run by Dr. Fabio Araujo Reis and his family in Sul de Minas, Minas Gerais. They work alongside a long-standing team, many of whom have deep ties to the farm itself. Their focus goes well beyond coffee, with real investment in their employees, their community and the environment that supports their work.
Our relationship has grown steadily and organically over time. It's a partnership we value deeply, built on consistency, transparency and a shared commitment to quality year after year.

What's arriving this year?

- Cup (our lab notes): baker's chocolate, brown sugar, almond, peanut, nougat and a mild lemon brightness
How do roasters use Fazenda do Salto?
These coffees are reliable, approachable building blocks. Mild acidity, chocolate and nut sweetness, and the same profile year after year make them a natural base for blends and house coffees, with the Rainforest Alliance seal for programs that need it.
We've been cupping Rainforest Alliance coffees for a long time. See our Rainforest Alliance cupping recap, browse more Origins & Impact stories, or check current offerings.
